Album: Mountains of Makkah (2005)
Lyrics: Zain Bhikha
Performed by: Zain Bhikha
This most beautiful song was one of the many written by Zain on his Hajj pilgrimage. Every Muslim knows the significance of the wondrous city of Medina, the city of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) where he was welcomed after fleeing Makkah. Medina is where the prophet built his home and his mosque, and where through Allah’s grace, he is buried. It is indeed a revered city, and this song makes one feel just a little of its magnificence.
